Miriam Cortez
Director of Client Services
Miriam joined Parallax Wealth Management as an assistant to Wilson Lea in 2019. Hired as Director of Client Services, she provides administrative support in maintaining client communication, preparing documents, planning workshop events, and marketing.
Miriam was raised in Tustin, California after migrating as a young child with her family from Mexico City. Soon after completing general education, she continued adult schooling while pursuing a career in customer service. Before entering the financial industry, 15+ years of customer service practice was gained after working for several businesses. This included sales at a fortune 500 company and owning a successful day care business.
Her bi-lingual, social, and organizational skills are just a few of her many talents. While delivering excellent client service, Miriam dedicates herself as a wife and mother of three children. She also enjoys volunteering, fitness training, gardening, and hiking.
